These profound works, both based on the traditional Jewish prayer for the dead, will be performed by the <strong data-start=\"426\" data-end=\"478\">Orchestra and Choir of the National Philharmonic<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"484\" data-end=\"527\">Alla Polacca Children\u2019s and Youth Choir<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"529\" data-end=\"546\">Natalia Rubi\u015b<\/strong> (soprano), <strong data-start=\"558\" data-end=\"574\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Gerard Edery<\/strong> (cantor), and narrators <strong data-start=\"599\" data-end=\"621\">S\u0142awomira \u0141ozi\u0144ska<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"626\" data-end=\"646\">S\u0142awomir Holland<\/strong>. The concert will be conducted by <strong data-start=\"681\" data-end=\"700\">Christoph K\u00f6nig<\/strong>, Principal Guest Conductor of the National Philharmonic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"759\" data-end=\"999\">During this year\u2019s edition of the <strong data-start=\"796\" data-end=\"836\">Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival<\/strong>, audiences experienced <strong data-start=\"860\" data-end=\"888\">seven symphonic concerts<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"890\" data-end=\"913\">four vocal recitals<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"915\" data-end=\"937\">two piano recitals<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"943\" data-end=\"967\">two chamber concerts<\/strong> over the span of twelve days.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1001\" data-end=\"1194\">Festival General Director <strong data-start=\"1027\" data-end=\"1050\">El\u017cbieta Penderecka<\/strong> invited outstanding soloists, conductors, and some of the finest national and international symphony orchestras to participate in this edition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1196\" data-end=\"1551\">The festival\u2019s guiding theme \u2013 <strong data-start=\"1231\" data-end=\"1263\">\u201cBeethoven and Great Poetry\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 shaped the programme, which was rich in vocal-instrumental works and compositions inspired by literature.
