The symphonic concert of the Polish Radio Orchestra in Warsaw, conducted by Leonard Slatkin and scheduled for Thursday, 17 April, has been cancelled.<\/p>\n
Tickets purchased for this event can be refunded at the point of sale, in the form corresponding to the original method of purchase.<\/p>\n
On the same day, 17 April, at 7:30 p.m., a vocal recital by Samuel Hasselhorn, accompanied by pianist Joseph Breinl, will take place in the Chamber Hall of the National Philharmonic. The concert by the German baritone, titled Stille Liebe \/ Silent Love<\/em>, will feature songs by Robert Schumann and Gustav Mahler.<\/p>\n Samuel Hasselhorn is recognised as one of the most outstanding vocalists of the young generation. In 2018, he won First Prize at the prestigious Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition and has since gained international acclaim as an opera singer and highly regarded interpreter of art song. In 2024, he received the Diapason d\u2019Or<\/em> critics\u2019 award for his recording of Die sch\u00f6ne M\u00fcllerin \/ The Fair Maid of the Mill<\/em>\u2014the first release in the five-year \u201cSchubert 200\u201d recording project.
