A box with 36 CDs will document 100 works. Forty selected works will be heard in historic interpretations from the archives of Polish Radio and Polskie Nagrania record company. The remaining 60 recordings were made in recent months, which required the involvement of many orchestras and soloists. The information available on the website of the Polish Music Publishing House (PWM) states that \u201cthe project is based on a list \u2018100 for 100\u2019 list of Polish music masterpieces, which were created between 1918 and today. A difficult choice, in which the criterion of artistic value was the most important, was made by the Programme Council composed of authorities and representatives of cultural institutions\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The recordings that will be published as part of the project include Krzysztof Penderecki\u2019s \u201cSt Luke Passion\u201d (1965). Journalist Jacek Marczy\u0144ski (Rzeczpospolita) wrote that [\u2026] Of historical importance is the old recording of another fundamental work \u2013 \u201cSt Luke Passion\u201d (1965) by Krzysztof Penderecki. The first Polish performance, which was recorded almost at once by the Polskie Nagrania record company, gathered together artists whom the composer had in mind when writing the work. They include conductor Henryk Czy\u017c and soloist singers Stefania Woytowicz, Andrzej Hiolski and Bernard \u0141adysz. They were invited to present the work on successive occasions in different countries and significantly contributed to the international fame of \u201cPassion\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the publication will include works by composers such as Karol Szymanowski, Witold Lutos\u0142awski, Andrzej Panufnik, Gra\u017cyna Bacewicz, Krzysztof Penderecki, Kazimierz Serocki, Henryk Miko\u0142aj G\u00f3recki, Wojciech Kilar, Zygmunt Krauze, Eugeniusz Knapik, Pawe\u0142 Mykietyn.<\/p>\n<p>See more information about the <a href=\"https:\/\/pwm.com.pl\/pl\/aktualnosci\/szczegoly\/3459475,100-na-100-muzyczne-dekady-wolnosci.html\">100 for 100.
