Winner of the Stanis\u0142aw Moniuszko International Vocal Competition and a finalist of the International Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition in Vienna.<\/p>\n<p>He has worked with the Warsaw Chamber Opera and is a soloist of the Krak\u00f3w Opera. His other collaborations have included the National Theatre in Prague, the National Opera in Sofia, and Hamburg\u2019s Staatsoper, with whom he toured Japan. He guested as Lansky in Tchaikovsky\u2019s <em>Eugene Onegin<\/em> for the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow.<\/p>\n<p>The artist also boasts a rich oratorio and cantata repertoire. He has participated in a range of significant cultural projects, including the inauguration of the season of the Warsaw Philharmonic (Haydn\u2019s <em>The Seasons<\/em> conducted by Kazimierz Kord), a recital of Chopin\u2019s songs in Tokyo, and performances of Penderecki\u2019s <em>Seven Gates of Jerusalem<\/em> at the Teatro Real in Madrid, at Midem 2000 Music Fair and \u2013 conducted by the composer \u2013 at the Beijing European Music Festival.<\/p>\n<p>Zdunikowski has had the honour of singing under the baton of maestros Lorin Maazel, Ji\u0159\u00ed B\u011blohl\u00e1vek, Kurt Masur, Nello Santi, Jerzy Semkow, Stanis\u0142aw Skrowaczewski, Jan Krenz, Jerzy Maksymiuk, Antoni Wit, Kazimierz Kord and Jacek Kaspszyk, and side by side with singers of the calibre of Renato Bruson, Soile Isokoski, Siegfried Jerusalem, Yevgeny Nesterenko, Andreas Schmidt, Eva Marton, Sylvia Geszty, and Andrzej Dobber.<\/p>\n<p>His unique achievements certainly include the performance of all Krzysztof Penderecki\u2019s oratorio works under the composer.<\/p>\n<p>The artist was among the winners of the first Ad Astra Awards from the Polish Minister of Culture and Art, while in 2012 he received the Silver <em>Gloria Artis<\/em> Medal for Merit to Culture from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, and the <em>Honoris Gratia<\/em> Pin in Recognition for Services to Krak\u00f3w.
