Since then they also were guided by Professor Maria Szwajger-Ku\u0142akowska and Professor Arie Vardi.<\/p>\n<p>In 2025, the Ksi\u0105\u017cek Piano Duo won the second prize at the 12th International Chamber Music Competition Franz Schubert und die Musik der Moderne in Graz in the piano duo category.<\/p>\n<p>In 2024, Polish Radio and the Ludwig van Beethoven Association released the duo&#8217;s album &#8220;Alla polacca!&#8221;. This unprecedented album contains a cross-section of classical works written in Poland for four hands that have survived to this day \u2013 works by Fryderyk Chopin, J\u00f3zef Elsner, and Ignacy Feliks Dobrzy\u0144ski.<\/p>\n<p>They were performing concerts in Poland and abroad (Switzerland, France, Thailand, UK, South Africa). In 2019 they won 2nd prize and special prize for best interpretation of Franz Schubert work at 21st International Schubert Competition for Piano Duos in Jesenik (Czech Republic). They were also finalists and got a special prize at 3rd Suzana Sz\u00f6renyi International Duo Competition 2019 in Bucharest (Romania). In 2020 they received \u2018M\u0142oda Polska\u2019 scholarship. In 2021 they won the 2nd Stanis\u0142aw Moniuszko International Competition of Polish Music in the Chamber Ensembles category. The Ksiazek Piano Duo is represented by the Ludwig van Beethoven Association.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Agnieszka Zahaczewska-Ksi\u0105\u017cek\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>started to learn piano playing at the age of seven. She was a student of the State Music School in Nowy S\u0105cz, finishing it with distinction. Her teachers were Danuta Jarz\u0105bek and since 2007 Professor Stefan Wojtas. In 2015 she finished with distinction studies at the Academy of Music in Krak\u00f3w in the class of Prof. Stefan Wojtas. From 2015 to 2017 Agnieszka completed postgraduate studies in Professor Wojciech \u015awita\u0142a\u2019s class at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. Currently she is a doctoral student at the above mentioned school in Katowice in the piano chamber music class of Professor Maria Szwajger-Ku\u0142akowska. During her studies in Krak\u00f3w she was developing her skills in chamber music under the direction of Professor Kaja Danczowska, Professor Justyna Danczowska and Professor S\u0142awomir Cierpik. Since 2018 Agnieszka is also member of Trio Legend (together with Monika Krasicka-Gajownik and Krzysztof Katana). The ensemble received 2nd Prize at VIII International Johannes Brahms Chamber Music Competition in Gda\u0144sk (2018) and 1st Prize at XXVI International Johannes Brahms Competition in P\u00f6rtschach (2019). They took part in masterclasses led by Guarneri Trio Prague in Wengen (Switzerland) and Schlitz (Germany). They also worked under the tutelage of Stephan Goerner, Ulrich Koella, Ida Bieler, Maria Szwajger-Ku\u0142akowska, Wies\u0142aw Kwa\u015bny. Trio Legend is currently studying at Kunstuniversit\u00e4t in Graz in Professor Chia Chou\u2019s class. Agnieszka Zahaczewska-Ksi\u0105\u017cek is also the laureate of youth piano competitions (National W\u0142adys\u0142aw K\u0119dra Chopin Competition in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, Juliusz Zar\u0119bski International Competition in \u0141omianki, National Festival \u201cYoung\u2019s Chopin Interpretations\u201d in Konin-\u017bychlin). She gave recitals as a part of concerts organized by the Fryderyk Chopin Institute at the Chopin Museum\u2019s branches in Warsaw and \u017belazowa Wola. Many times she took part in masterclasses, working under such professors as Tam\u00e1s Ung\u00e1r, Katarzyna Popowa-Zydro\u0144, J\u00f3zef Stompel, Andrzej Tatarski, Jerzy Sterczy\u0144ski and others. She was also a holder of Krynica-Zdr\u00f3j Mayor\u2019s scholarship, Almanach of Muszyna Scholarship Fund as well as the one of the Rectors of the Academies of Music in Krak\u00f3w and Katowice.
