In his youth, he played violin and clarinet; at music high school in Bytom, he studied oboe performance. In 1968, he graduated from the State Drama School in Krak\u00f3w.<\/p>\n<p>The artist has appeared on the stages of the Stary Theatre in Krak\u00f3w and the National and Powszechny theatres in Warsaw. In the 1970s, he performed at the Pod Egid\u0105 cabaret. Since the end of the 1970s, he has been playing in French theatres; in the 1980s, he emigrated to Paris. Since the 1990s, he has been playing at theatres both in Poland and elsewhere in Europe. He lectures at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw.<\/p>\n<p>Wojciech Pszoniak has played in many Polish and foreign films, among others Andrzej Wajda\u2019s <em>Pilate and Others<\/em>, <em>The Wedding<\/em>, <em>The Promised Land<\/em>, <em>Danton<\/em> and <em>Korczak<\/em>, Edward \u017bebrowski\u2019s <em>Hospital of the Transfiguration <\/em>and Jerzy Kawalerowicz\u2019s <em>Austeria<\/em>, Pierre Boutron\u2019s <em>Les ann\u00e9es sandwiches<\/em>, \u00c9tienne P\u00e9rier\u2019s <em>Rouge Venise<\/em>, Jacques Fansten\u2019s <em>Les lendemains qui chantent <\/em>and many others.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Distinguished Polish theatrical and film actor Wojciech Pszoniak was born in Lviv \u2013 where he spent the first two years of his life \u2013 and grew up in Gliwice.
