{"id":1368,"date":"2017-04-10T11:18:41","date_gmt":"2017-04-10T09:18:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/beethoven.org.pl\/artysci\/?page_id=1368"},"modified":"2017-04-11T10:23:56","modified_gmt":"2017-04-11T08:23:56","slug":"massimiliano-caldi-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/beethoven.org.pl\/artysci\/en\/massimiliano-caldi-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Massimiliano Caldi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Massimiliano Caldi<\/strong> (Milan 1967), with his great international experience in the fields of symphonic music, opera, operetta and ballet, and attention to contemporary music and to the revival of the 19th-century opera, stands out for his high level of professional preparation and for his bright and linear directorial style.<\/p>\n<p>Winner of First Prize at the Grzegorz Fitelberg International Competition (1999), Caldi is Principal Conductor of the Polish Baltic Fryderyk Chopin Philharmonic of Gda\u0144sk and Principal Conductor and Artistic Consultant of the Moniuszko Philharmonic of Koszalin. Since 2016 he has also increased his collaboration with the Philharmonic of Rzesz\u00f3w and \u0141\u00f3d\u017a. Last May, Caldi debuted in St Petersburg with the Philharmonic Orchestra in the legendary Grand Hall, and in the last ten years he has toured in Israel, Oman, USA, Chile and Brazil.<\/p>\n<p>Among his upcoming appointments are directing <em>The Barber of Seville<\/em> and <em>Nabucco<\/em> at the Pozna\u0144 Grand Theatre, the world premiere of Marco Betta\u2019s opera <em>Notte per me luminosa<\/em> at Teatro Municipale of Piacenza and <em>Carmina Burana<\/em> at the Philharmonic in Gda\u0144sk. In the symphonic field, Caldi debuted in Berlin with the Konzerthaus Kammerorchester Berlin and at the Moscow Conservatory\u2019s Rachmaninov Hall with Sinfonietta Cracovia.
