Ewa Juszkiewicz is the author of the poster of the 21st Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival

21_WFLvB_open_A4Ewa Juszkiewicz is the  author of the poster of the 21st Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival (Warsaw, 2-14 April 2017), an outstanding artist, doctor of arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, winner of national and international art competitions. The work of the painter is classified by the authors of the prestigious “One Hundred Painters of Tomorrow” to stand in the one hundred of artists of the future.

Poster prepared by Juszkiewicz will become a visual showcase of 21st Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival, in which every year crowds of music lovers from all over the world take part. Since 1997, Elzbieta Penderecka, president of the Ludwig van Beethoven Association and the originator and Director General of the Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival, invites most talented musicians from around the world to cooperate in the following editions of the event. For 21st  Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival, among others, we will especially welcome in Warsaw the Wiener Akademie Orchester, hr-Sinfonieorchester, the Belcea Quartet and the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra. As every year, there will be Polish artists, among other we will have a pleasure to hear: Orchestra and Choir of the National Philharmonic, Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonia Varsovia, Sinfonietta Cracovia and many others.

Ewa Juszkiewicz, as the author of the next year’s Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival poster, joins the group of artists of the festival poster gallery. The idea created by Andrzej Giza, Director of the Ludwig van Beethoven Association and art historian, is to promote the festival through the works by the most outstanding contemporary Polish artists of the younger generation. Posters illustrating the previous editions of the festival were prepared, among others, by Wilhelm Sasnal, Marcin Maciejowski, Jakub Julian Ziolkowski, Radek Szlaga, Tymek Borowski and others.
