At the 2017 Tallinn Winter Festival, a piano trio namedHemeīs was born, made up of some of the mostoutstanding musicians in Estonia today. The reactionto their first performances has been excellent and,as very few sustainably active chamber groups havebeen founded in the time of an independent Estonia,trio Hemeīs aims to remain on the international musicscene for years to come. In 2018 they will have theirfirst tours abroad, including performances at theHelsinki Virka Gallery, during the Beethoven EasterFestival in Warsaw and the EuropFest in Bucharest.
