Nicole Percifield

Nicole Percifield, soprano, is a recent graduate of Yale Opera, where she appeared as
Contessa Almaviva in Le Nozze di Figaro this past February. Percifield recently featured
with the New Haven Symphony in Handel’s Messiah, and as the title role in Puccini’s
Suor Angelica. Other credits include the roles of Mařenka, The Bartered Bride, with
Boston Midsummer Opera; Mimi, La Bohème with Yale Opera; and Vitellia, La
Clemenza di Tito in Sulmona, Italy.
Percifield has been featured in concert performances with the Saint Paul Chamber
Orchestra and the Minnesota Orchestra. She recently performed Debussy’s Chansons
Baudelaire at Carnegie Hall with Yale in New York. As a Young Artist, she has worked
with Opera Theatre of St. Louis, Santa Fe Opera, Central City Opera and Minnesota
Opera. Percifield was a finalist at the 2013 Metropolitan Opera Connecticut Districts,
advancing to the New England Regionals.
