Bernarda Fink, daughter of Slovenian parents,was born in Buenos Aires and received her musicaleducation at the Instituto Superior de Arte del TeatroColón. A sought-after concert and recital singer, sheis acclaimed for her musical versatility. Her repertoireranges from ancient music up to works of the 20thcentury. She frequently appears with the Vienna andBerlin Philharmonic Orchestras, London Philharmonic,Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Cleveland Orchestra,the best known Baroque orchestras and many others,under Barenboim, Blomstedt, Bychkov, Chailly,Gardiner, Gergiev, Jacobs, Jansons, Muti, Norrington,Pinnock, Prêtre, Rattle, Saraste and Welser-Möst.On stage, Bernarda Fink has appeared to criticalacclaim in Argentina and at the main opera houses inEurope. In 2017 we saw her debut at the ViennaState Opera in Debussy’s Pelléas et Mélisande. She wasawarded the Austrian Honorary Medal for Art andScience, and together with her brother Marcos Fink,the most prestigious cultural award of Sloveniasponsored by the Prešeren Foundation. In September2014 she received the title of ÖsterreichischeKammersängerin.
