Patrycja Piętka, the author of the poster for the 30th Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival

Patrycja Piętka is a graduate of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. In 2022, she graduated with distinction with a painting diploma from Mirosław Sikorski’s studio. For three years, she also studied scenography, applying this knowledge to her painting practice and interdisciplinary activities. She collaborates with the contemporary art gallery Art Agedna Nova. Since graduating, she has lived and worked in Kraków, actively participating in local artistic events. She expands the context of her painting to include references to the role of memory and the creation of memories, folklore, material cultural heritage, and film culture. Her artistic output to date includes six solo exhibitions and participation in over twenty group exhibitions of significant significance for the contemporary artistic community, including: National Gallery of Art – Zachęta, CSW Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw, Museum of Contemporary Art MOCAK in Cracow, Kamienica Hipolitów (Cracow), Galeria Miejska and Krupa Art Fundation in Wroclaw, BWA in Bielsko-Biała or CSW in Torun. Her paintings are also part of numerous private collections. During the 2025/2026 academic year, she will be an assistant at the Painting Studio I, headed by Mirosław Sikorska, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków.
